Bluegrass Tomorrow Regional Vision AT RISK

Increased Cost of Services

Studies have shown that poorly planned, conventional development actually costs communities money. Bluegrass Tomorrow performed a study which showed that these patterns were as much as 40% more expensive to build and maintain. Thus developers and consumers pay more for new development in the short term and local governments (taxpayers - us!) pay more over the longer term.
